Twenty-five members of the NYC Housing Authority Police Department gave their lives in the line of duty. We honor their sacrifice and remember their service.

Two Housing Police officers lost their lives responding to the World Trade Center attacks:
- Sergeant John Coughlin
- Police Officer Vincent Danz
Their bravery on that terrible day exemplifies the courage of all who served in the NYCHAPD.
Unsolved: P.O. Vito Chiaramonte
On September 26, 1977, Police Officer Vito Chiaramonte was shot and killed while on duty. His murder remains unsolved. A $12,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of his killer.
